Non-Student Hourly Desk Agent

$16.00 per hour

Desk Agents provide administrative support for the Writing Center by monitoring the center's email, phone, and walk-in guests. They act as a contact point for inquiries about the Writing Center and provide tutoring when the schedule is full. Prior experience as a tutor in the Writing Center is preferred.

• Previous work experience in a UNT Student Assistant position or similar work experience.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

• Monitor the Writing Center’s email, phone calls, and walk-in guests.
• Provide administrative support for the Writing Center.

• Communicating with others to exchange information.
• Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting or standing.

Various shifts uncovered by student tutors: 9 AM–9 PM, Monday–Thursday, and 9 AM–3 PM on Friday.
