SUMMARY
The Martino Group in Denton, TX is seeking to hire a full-time Leasing Consultant to play a vital role in the overall Class‑A appeal of our property that keeps our owners happy and retains tenants. The typical schedule is 9:00am-6:00pm, Monday-Friday and Saturday 10:00am to 5:00pm, with one day off during the week. We pay our Leasing Consultants a competitive wage, commensurate with experience and performance, plus commissions for leases and renewals. DUTIESAs a Leasing Consultant, you are the front‑line ambassador between the prospects, residents of the apartment community, and management. You provide exceptional focus and detail through all levels of communication and daily tasks. You play an extraordinary part to the success of the team and property by offering a community wide top‑notch customer service experience.
Your individual initiative is vital for success. You work closely with all prospects, applicants, residents, and on‑site team members, while also handling prospects and resident related issues or concerns and forwarding them when necessary.
You take pride in properly screening each application, while respecting the privacy of all resident files with a confidential mindset. Each day offers an opportunity to excel and grow within The Martino Group. You feel great about maintaining value and quality within the community.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITYThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.
WORK ENVIRONMENTThis job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORKThis is a full‑time, non‑exempt position, with 40 hours regularly scheduled each week. Hours of Operation are typically Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
TRAVELThis position may require some local travel during the business day, but no overnight travel.

REQUIREMENTS REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE- High school diploma/GED, or equivalent
- Proficient in Yardi with 1-2 years of experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google docs with 1-2 years of experience
- Proficient in social media management
- Satisfactory results from a drug screen, background, and MVR check
- Must have Fair Housing certification or be able to obtain the certification within 48 hours of hire
- Be able to work with minimal supervision
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must maintain the minimum amount of insurance required by Company policy
- Must have reliable transportation for outreach marketing
- Talk and hear
- Read, write, and speak English
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus
