Senior Data Analyst

Peterbilt has an immediate need for a talented and self-motivated Data Analyst. This position will support the After Sales Department with reporting and in-depth data analysis. This role reports to the Data Analytics Manager, After Sales.

• Extract, clean, merge, transform and compile data from various data sources, including relational databases, flat files, No
  
  SQL databases and unstructured data using Python and SQL.
• Create and implement dashboards and reports in Tableau to share metrics and insights with team members and senior executives.
• Integrate After Sales data from multiple sources to produce a single overarching view of the customer After Sales experience.
• Monthly General Manager Warranty Meetings Data Extraction and query updates.
• Develop and implement analytical models that provide actionable insights to support cross-functional team objectives.
• Provide accurate, relevant, and meaningful ad-hoc analysis to management to support strategic and tactical decision-making.
• Develop new process improvements to increase the speed, accuracy, and efficiency of our work.
• Create and present materials on data projects.

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Analytics, or related field
• 7+ years of applicable job experience, with a proven ability to make process improvements
• Experience in creating executive/summary level dashboards and reports, integrating many data sources
• Experience with Snowflake and Python
• Strong understanding of advanced Tableau features and capabilities

• Must be a highly motivated self-starter and self-directed learner with a creative mind, high attention to detail and a solution-oriented outlook
• Candidate must demonstrate strong analytical skills, critical thinking, excellent general business acumen, with the ability to communicate complex topics concisely and clearly
• Demonstrable in-depth understanding of data structures and ETL processes
• Familiarity with cloud storage like AWS
• Git Hub experience for version control
