About The Role
Lead Contracts. Protect Profitability. Drive Growth.
- Manage customer LTAs and other commercial agreements from review and negotiation through renewal and closeout.
- Review, analyze, and redline LTAs, purchase order terms and conditions, NDAs, amendments, and other commercial agreements while coordinating Corporate Legal review when required.
- Evaluate commercial terms including pricing, escalation clauses, rebates, payment terms, volume commitments, delivery schedules, cancellations, warranties, liability provisions, intellectual property rights, audit rights, and termination clauses.
- Partner with Finance, Sales, and Quoting teams to assess contract impacts related to cost, pricing, margin, cash flow, volume commitments, tooling investments, non-recurring engineering (NRE), and overall business risk.
- Prepare contract summaries, approval packages, negotiation documentation, redline logs, and final executed contract records.
- Maintain organized contract files and tracking systems for renewals, pricing actions, notice requirements, contractual obligations, and key customer commitments.
- Lead internal contract review meetings and communicate open actions, compliance concerns, renewal opportunities, margin improvements, and contractual risk exposure.
- Coordinate contract amendments, pricing notifications, claims, and formal customer communications.
- Monitor customer compliance with contractual obligations, including volume commitments, forecasts, payment terms, and other key performance requirements.
- Coordinate FAR/DFARS flow-down requirements and ITAR/EAR provisions with Legal, Quality, Supply Chain, and Trade Compliance teams.
- Continually improve contract templates, approval workflows, reporting dashboards, checklists, and training materials.
- Provide guidance and recommendations regarding contractual obligations, risks, and opportunities.
- Review, provide feedback on, negotiate, and execute customer contracts and, when necessary, supplier agreements.
- Maintain professionalism and composure while managing challenging negotiations and complex business situations.
Mayday Manufacturing is seeking a highly motivated Contracts Manager to support our growing aerospace and defense business. This strategic role is responsible for administering, reviewing, negotiating, and managing customer Long-Term Agreements (LTAs), purchase order terms, amendments, nondisclosure agreements, and other commercial contracts.

Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, Contract Management, or a related field from an accredited four-year university.
- Five (5) or more years of experience in contract administration, commercial management, pricing, finance, or a related field within manufacturing or another complex business-to-business environment.
