The Project Manager reports directly to the Construction Operations Manager and supervises assigned estimator(s). The PM is responsible for soliciting project documents and information, ensuring timely delivery to estimators, support team members, and outside vendors through a structured RFP process. The PM must follow up on outstanding RFPs to meet bid deadlines. During the estimating process, the PM may gather additional information from clients on behalf of estimators or ensure estimators do so independently.
The PM may also meet with clients before and during project execution.
Responsibilities:
- Experience in contract negotiation with subcontractors and vendors, including buyout processes
- Experience managing project budgets
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, or at least 4 years of relevant experience and training, or an equivalent combination
- 3-5 years of progressive estimating experience in the construction industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Mid-Senior level
