Steel Estimator
gpac is partnered with an structural steel fabricator completing projects for a variety of industries utilizing structural steel construction. They are seeking an experienced Steel Estimator to add to their growing team. Qualifications for Steel Estimator:
- Successfully estimated and won projects in the $100k-$1M range
- Experience estimating with Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, or Planswift software
- Knowledge of current AISC and PCI codes and standards
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents
- Ability to calculate costs and prepare estimates
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Prepare and review estimates for accuracy and completeness
- Coordinate and communicate with team members
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients
- Manage and monitor project budgets and schedules
- Monitor and review changes in project scope
- Ensure all materials, labor and equipment costs are accurately included in estimates
- Prepare accurate material take offs
- Assist in developing and implementing cost-effective strategies
- $60,000 - $90,000 base salary (DOE)
