Order Entry Specialist

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Order Entry Specialist to support a busy operations team in Denton, TX. This role is responsible for accurately entering customer orders, maintaining data integrity, and coordinating with internal departments to ensure timely order processing and fulfillment.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, enjoys working with data, and has excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

+ Enter customer orders accurately into company systems

+ Review orders for completeness and accuracy

+ Verify pricing, product information, and shipping details

+ Communicate with customers regarding order status and updates

+ Coordinate with sales, operations, and warehouse teams to resolve discrepancies

+ Maintain accurate customer records and documentation

+ Process order changes, cancellations, and corrections as needed

+ Monitor order queues and prioritize urgent requests

+ Support inventory and order tracking activities

+ Perform general administrative duties as assigned

Requirements

Required Qualifications

+ 1+ year of order entry, data entry, customer service, or administrative experience

+ Strong attention to detail and accuracy

+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills

+ Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

+ Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

+

Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Net Suite, or similar platforms

+ Previous experience in manufacturing, distribution, logistics, or customer support environments

+ High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred
