Position Overview:Blazer Jobs is excited to announce that we are currently interviewing for aSchool Psychologist for the school year!
Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive psychological services
, including assessment, consultation, intervention, and counseling.Conduct evaluations to determine student eligibility for special education and behavioral supports.
Develop and implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) tailored to students with high behavioral needs.
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, juvenile services staff, and families to support student success.
Provide individual and group counseling to address emotional, behavioral, and social challenges.
Support staff with strategies for classroom management and crisis intervention.
Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
Maintain compliance with state, federal, and district regulations regarding psychological services and documentation.
Active Texas School Psychologist license (required).
Minimum 2 years of school-based experience (preferred).
Strong skills in crisis management, de-escalation, and trauma-informed practices
.Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
