Position OverviewThe Department of Educational Psychology seeks qualified individuals to join the adjunct instructor pool. This posting is for the Fall 2026, Spring 2027, and Summer 2027 semesters. Adjunct instructors will teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Special Education, Human Development & Family Science and other courses as needed. Course assignments will vary by semester and department teaching needs.
ResponsibilitiesTeach assigned courses, prepare lesson plans, conduct lectures, facilitate online instruction (Canvas), assess student work, and participate in department meetings as required.
Minimum Qualifications- MS/Ph.D. in Special Education, Human Development & Family Science, Research Methodology, Measurement and Evaluation, and/or Statistics, or related field.
- Minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in SPED or HDFS or RMS.
- Previous teaching experience in higher education.
- Online teaching experience and proficiency with Canvas.
- Previous experience as a special education teacher in a school setting.
- Physical ability to communicate with others effectively.
- Security-sensitive position; compliance with university policies.
- Provide a minimum of two professional references. Additional references may be added after application submission.
