Position: Occupational Therapist School Setting - Denton, TX
Step into an exciting opportunity as a full-time Occupational Therapist supporting students at the beginning of the  school year! This contract role spans 12 weeks, covering a leave of absence. Working closely with educators and families, you will play an essential role in helping students reach their fullest potential, all within a collaborative and engaging school environment.

Qualifications and

Experience:

• Hold a valid Occupational Therapist license
• Previous experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
• Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted occupational therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs
• Conduct assessments and make recommendations for interventions
• Document progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate updates to teams
• Work alongside teachers, administrators, and support staff to foster student success
• Provide guidance to families and educators on relevant strategies and best practices
