Position OverviewThis role supports an educational project, requiring a general understanding of the function/specialization. Responsibilities include induction activities, assisting with recruitment, collecting data, managing social media and website content, maintaining compliance records, and providing general project support.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in a related field and one year of related experience or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Skills and Abilities
- Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), email communication, calendar management, web browsing, online research, and collaboration tools (Microsoft Teams, Zoom).
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to provide leadership for student employees and volunteers.
- Experience in networking across departments and programs.
- Ability to communicate and work with the population.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to simultaneously execute multiple projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Proficiency with web-based platforms, including Qualtrics and Canva.
- Plan, promote and implement activities related to the assigned program, including development of program presentations, recruitment, and training.
- Write scholarly reports, grant proposals or other program/project related documents.
- Provide administrative support for grants, including budget management, purchasing, account reconciliation, obtaining approvals and ensuring compliance with sponsor requirements.
- Assist with implementation, development, planning, promotion/dissemination and logistical support of projects.
- Maintain and report accurate program/project records consistent with grant, program and university requirements.
- Assist with oversight of Teaching Fellows and related duties (training, evaluation) and guide professional development and community involvement, including internships.
- Post jobs for interns (non-student hourly staff) and supervise timesheet approvals.
- Communicating with others to exchange information.
- Lifting and moving objects up to 20 pounds.
