Position OverviewThe UNT Kristin Farmer Autism Center (KFAC) is seeking a qualified Training Specialist to provide Marcus Crisis Prevention Program (MCPP) training for clinical staff. This temporary position supports a staff development initiative that includes delivery of an initial training series, a follow-up refresher session, and limited coordination with KFAC leadership to support successful implementation. This is a temporary, non-benefits-eligible position.
Minimum Qualifications- Experience delivering professional training, staff development, or instructional programming
- Relevant experience in crisis prevention, behavioral, clinical, or autism service settings
- Strong presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal communication skills
- Certification, instructor status, or formal training in MCPP or a similar crisis prevention model
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential or related professional certification
- Experience training clinical teams in applied service settings
- Participate in a planning meeting to finalize training logistics and scheduling
- Deliver a two-day, in-person MCPP training for clinical staff
- Provide instruction, demonstration, coaching, and guided practice during training activities
- Deliver a 1.5-hour refresher training session
- Coordinate with KFAC leadership regarding training implementation and follow-up needs
Communicating with others to exchange information. Lifting and moving objects up to 20 pounds. Repetitive motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.

Work ScheduleMax of 19 hours/week Monday - Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
