Adjunct Assistant Instructors support undergraduate Foundations courses within a coordinated lecture/lab model under the supervision of the instructor of record. Appointments are made on a per-semester basis and are dependent on program needs.

• Assist with studio-based instruction in drawing, design, visual communication, and interdisciplinary practices.
• Facilitate small group discussions and critiques.
• Support project-based learning that integrates research, writing, and visual production.
• Assist with evaluating student work and providing feedback as directed by the instructor of record.
• Help reinforce learning outcomes in alignment with program objectives.
• Coordinate with Foundations leadership and course instructors for curricular consistency across sections.

• MFA in Visual Art, Design, or related discipline.

• Demonstrated ability to teach and make connections across various visual art and design disciplines (2D/3D/time‑based, etc.).
• Demonstrated ability to mentor students.

Communicating with others to exchange information.
