Texas Woman's University – Lecturer II in Business Law
The Merrilee Alexander Kick College of Business and Entrepreneurship is searching for a Lecturer II in Business Law beginning August 2026. This position supports teaching undergraduate and graduate courses on business law and ethics within the Merrilee Alexander Kick College of Business & Entrepreneurship.
Qualified candidates should possess relevant academic credentials and experience, including a JD degree and active legal work. Responsibilities include teaching business law and ethics courses in face‑to‑face, online, or hybrid formats and participating in college meetings and service as required.
Organizational RelationshipsReports to:
Chair, Management & Marketing Department and ultimately the Executive Dean of the Merrilee Alexander Kick College of Business & Entrepreneurship.
- Teaching undergraduate courses in business law and ethics.
- Working collaboratively with college colleagues and academic personnel to conduct and oversee academic quality, including program‑level assessment related to business law and ethics.
- Attending regular college and departmental meetings and retreats, as scheduled.
- Supporting the college in service positions as needed.
- Candidates must hold an earned Juris Doctor degree.
- Active work in the legal profession.
- Experience with business law and ethics.
- Prior teaching experience.
