This position is grant funded and continuation is dependent upon satisfactory performance, program needs and availability of grant funds.
PRIMARY
PURPOSE:
The NTAEL Intake and Data Supervisor is responsible for the implementation of projects, development, planning and coordination of program recruitment, marketing, student enrollment and program data management activities to meet the goals and objectives of the NTAEL grant.
Bachelor’s degree required, Master's preferred – Education with administrative emphasis or marketing related field preferred.
Bilingual preferred (Spanish)
Experience3 years in a Texas Workforce Commission Adult Education and Literacy program with proficient working knowledge of TEAMS, or related educational field.
Special Knowledge/Skills- Working knowledge of the Texas Educating Adults Management System (TEAMS).
- Excellent interpersonal, relationship, communication, organizational, and promotional skills.
- Demonstrates teamwork and commitment by balancing team and individual responsibilities.
- Displays original thinking, creativity, and resourcefulness in meeting challenges and improving the program.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, social media, and Internet usage.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Capable of working under pressure and within tight time frames.
- Willingness to work in a busy environment with numerous interruptions.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Proficient in utilizing technology, applications, and social media for attracting and communicating with prospective students and partners.
- Actively market programs to adult learners, partners, and community organizations, strategically partnering with institutions, associations, corporations, etc., to build a diverse prospective student pool aligned with grant goals.
- Travel within the county service area served by NTAEL and be available for occasional extended hours and weekends during peak periods.
- Develop and coordinate marketing materials and events, ensuring effective recruitment of students to meet grant targets.
- Present program services to various partners, colleges, churches, corporations, workforce development offices, and community organizations to market program services.
- Analyze and maintain data on marketing and recruitment outcomes, updating program staff as required.
- Ensure accurate and timely entry of program data into TEAMS for performance reports.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure program quality and compliance.
- Coordinate program data entry, student intake procedures, schedules, and registration events.
- Assist in the development and review of the program Professional Development (PD) plan.
- Conduct annual staff performance evaluations to ensure program quality, accountability, and compliance.
- Recruit, hire, train, and supervise intake/data support staff to meet grant requirements.
- Attend staff meetings, community events, and relevant local and state conferences related to Adult Education.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director and/or Assistant Director of NTAEL.

- Occasional lifting, up to 50 pounds.
- Prolonged use of computer and repetitive hand motions.
APPOINTMENT: The appointment of this position will be recommended to the Board of Trustees by the Superintendent of Schools on the basis of the applicant's training, experience, and expertise. The Board of Trustees must give final approval.
