Position OverviewThis position will support faculty and their efforts in working closely with high school and college students who will be participating in a grant-funded workforce development program designed to assist students in their efforts to pursue a career in healthcare.
Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in a related field and one year of professional related experience in coordinating or administering higher education programming or related field; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Knowledge,Skills and Abilities
Ability to prioritize multiple ongoing responsibilities. Strong organizational skills. Proficiency in MS Office. Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
Job Duties- Recruiting high school and college students for Workforce Development Program
- Assisting students as they transition in their education toward a career in healthcare.
- Work closely with Sr. Program Project Coordinator to design and execute co-curricular programming.
- Assist students with college application process.
- Facilitate social and mentoring support with participants monthly and throughout the year
Communicating with others to exchange information.
