A contract opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist based in Denton, TX. This role is well-suited for professionals who bring expertise in psychological assessment, counseling, and collaboration within school settings to support student development and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify student needs.
  • Develop and implement intervention strategies tailored to individual students.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student academic and emotional growth.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to developing appropriate educational plans.
  • Maintain clear and timely documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Provide crisis intervention and counseling services as needed.
Qualifications
  • Masters degree or higher in School Psychology or related field.
  • Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience working in K-12 educational settings.
  • Strong knowledge of psychological testing instruments and data interpretation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Familiarity with state and federal regulations affecting special education.
