The Office of Admissions is a vital contributor to the enrollment success at the University of North Texas through student outreach, recruitment endeavors, and a commitment to providing personalized assistance to students throughout the college application and admissions process.

The Office of Admissions, at the University of North Texas, is seeking to hire an Admissions Recruiter to assist in recruiting and admissions functions under the direction of the Associate Director, Admissions Recruitment & Outreach.

This position is responsible for participation in all aspects of the outreach to high school and college students. The role involves implementing, developing, and evaluating new student enrollment initiatives for assigned student groups, developing recruitment strategies, assisting with the strategic implementation of recruitment activities, identifying strong recruitment approaches, and developing and executing new outreach programs. Work includes local travel, counseling and guidance of applicants for admissions, and providing directional services to high school and colleges in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, with occasional overnight, in and out of state travel.

Bachelor's degree and one year of experience in recruiting, academic advising, counseling, student services, customer service or related experience, or education to substitute for experience.

• Schedule regular visits with students and counselors in assigned territories and focus on maintaining strong relationships with key school contacts.
