The Department of Information Science at the University of North Texas invites applications for a lecturer position in Health Informatics and Health Librarianship. The successful candidate is expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses and provide service in an academic position. The candidate must be able to design and deliver courses in a variety of formats, including online and hybrid modalities.

Demonstrated teaching experience and service to the profession are required. This is a nine‑month, full‑time professional faculty position. Review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until the search is closed.

• Design, teach, and evaluate undergraduate and graduate courses in health informatics and health librarianship.
• Deliver course material through online, hybrid, and face‑to‑face formats.
• Provide academic service and contribute to the department’s mission of advancing information knowledge.
• Build collaborative relationships within the university, its system, and the profession.
• Engage in professional development and scholarly activities related to health informatics.

• Earned doctorate in Health Informatics, Information Science, or a related field at the time of appointment.

• Evidence of effective teaching, research (including external funding), and scholarship in Health Informatics or Health Information areas.
• Experience in health‑related settings.
