City Year seeks Ameri Corps Members to serve full-time in public schools, supporting students' academic and social-emotional growth. In this education-focused role, you'll provide tutoring, mentor students, assist in classrooms, and lead small-group interventions. You'll collaborate with school staff and a diverse team to create a positive learning environment. Responsibilities

• Provide daily in-class support and small-group tutoring to students in partner schools
• Build positive relationships that promote students' academic and social-emotional growth
• Track and report student progress using school and City Year tools
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to align support with classroom goals
• Participate in ongoing training, reflection, and professional development
• Engage in after-school programs, events, and family outreach as needed
• Model leadership, inclusivity, and a commitment to social justice
• Support school-wide initiatives that improve climate, attendance, and engagement
