Transmission Substation Patrolman (OM26-10)(Operations Maintenance)
Brazos Electric provides transmission and distribution services for 16 Texas electric co-ops across 68 counties from the Texas Panhandle to Houston.
Job Skills / RequirementsReady to make an impact in the power industry? We’re looking for a skilled Substation Patrolman to help keep our transmission system safe, reliable, and running strong.
What You’ll Do:- Perform switching operations & support outage restoration
- Maintain site security, vegetation, and ERCOT weatherization compliance
- Provide 24/7 on-call response across the Brazos Electric system
- 3+ years substation or transmission line experience (or military equivalent)
- Completion of a formal training program for utility workers of or AAS in electronics/electrical power
- Must live within the assigned territory
