Rope Access Technician Project Manager

Location:

Denton, Texas, United States | 70% Travel Required | Full-Time

AERONES is a global leader in advanced wind turbine maintenance and robotic technologies. We are seeking an experienced Rope Access Technician Project Manager to lead our U.S. Rope Access (RAT) crews across wind projects nationwide. This is a senior field leadership role for someone who has come up through the ropes, holds the technical authority to set the standard, and knows how to lead crews on the ground.

You'll travel across the U.S., own the RAT function end-to-end, and step onto the ropes when the job calls for it. If you're a Level 3 rope-access professional who wants ownership of a discipline - not just a project - this is your seat.

You'll travel to wind farms across the United States, with all accommodation and travel expenses fully covered by the Company. You'll be the technical and operational line for every RAT crew we deploy - setting the standard, coaching Team leads, approving daily reports, and driving safety and quality across every site.

This role is hands-on. You'll be in the field, on the ropes when needed, and in the room when we plan what's next.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Lead and support Rope Access Technician crews across all U.S. wind projects
  • Set and maintain the RAT technical standard - SOPs, rigging, rescue, and rope-access method
  • Own safety governance for RAT scope: PPE, rescue plans, stop-work discipline, incident response
  • Own quality governance: first-time QC pass, root-cause analysis, closeout of findings
  • Review and approve RAT technician daily reports and timesheets
  • Approve RAT crew composition and dispatch readiness before deployment
  • Maintain RAT certification currency - no expired certificate on site
  • Travel across U.S. wind project sites; step onto the ropes when the scope requires it
  • Provide performance input on RAT Technicians and Team leads; support hiring and progression decisions
  • Represent RAT in cross-functional planning with Operations, HSE, HR, and Business Development
  • Identify capability gaps and drive improvements to the RAT function
