Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for innovation? Join Peterbilt's Vehicle Definition team as a Product Definition Coordinator and help shape tomorrow's solutions today. In this role, you'll create and manage product scope documents, collaborate with key stakeholders, and play a pivotal part in documenting high-level engineering requirements for future projects. Your work will directly influence the creation of product investment quotes and the assessment of impacted vehicle systems.
Job Responsibilities- Work closely with stakeholders to translate the Voice of the Customer into Product Description Books for assigned programs.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to align on the scope of assigned programs.
- Use technical writing skills to convert broad-scope feature lists into clear engineering requirements.
- Facilitate stakeholder reviews of program scope to achieve organizational approval.
- Maintain awareness of program status and scope changes.
- Support and provide feedback during Technical, Concept, Design, and Tollgate Reviews.
- Up to 10% travel can be expected.
- Bachelor degree in Engineering, Business, or related fields.
- 5 years’ relevant experience in requirement gathering or product development.
- Ability to work cross-functionally including stakeholder identification, facilitation, and coordination.
- Presentation skills for technical and executive audiences.
- Strong working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with IBM Doors Next Generation or similar requirements management databases preferred.
