Director of Finance And Accounting

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Accounting & Finance to lead accounting operations, financial reporting, and process optimization within a growing, multi-entity organization.

This role will partner closely with executive leadership to enhance financial visibility, strengthen operational processes, and support business growth through scalable accounting and finance practices. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in corporate accounting, financial analysis, and team leadership, along with experience operating in dynamic, fast-paced environments.

Accounting Leadership & Financial Operations

• Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP
• Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
• Establish and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Oversee multi-entity accounting operations, including consolidations and intercompany activity
• Own consolidated financial reporting and management reporting processes
• Perform detailed financial analysis, including budget-to-actual and forecast variance reporting
• Provide actionable financial insights and recommendations to executive leadership
• Support strategic planning through financial modeling and operational analysis

Revenue & Operational Accounting

• Oversee revenue recognition processes, including recurring revenue and ASC 606 considerations
• Ensure accurate accounting for operational transactions and financial activity across business units
• Monitor financial performance metrics and operational KPIs to support informed decision-making
• Lead, mentor, and develop accounting and finance team members
• Build scalable processes and organizational structure to support continued growth
• Foster a collaborative, accountable, and continuous improvement-oriented culture

Audit, Compliance & Controls

• Serve as primary liaison for external audits and financial reviews
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements
• Oversee preparation of audit schedules, supporting documentation, and compliance reporting

Systems & Process Improvement

• Lead initiatives focused on automation, workflow optimization, and reporting enhancements
• Partner cross-functionally to improve financial systems, data integrity, and operational efficiency
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and long-term financial initiatives

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA strongly preferred
• 8+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including leadership responsibilities
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
• Experience with in multi-entity and/or high-growth environments preferred
• Advanced Excel and financial systems experience
• Strong communication, analytical, and organizational leadership skills

• Experience with in real estate, property management, SaaS, professional services, or recurring revenue environments is a plus
• Prior experience improving processes and scaling accounting operations in a growing organization
• Experience partnering directly with executive leadership on strategic financial initiatives
