The Financial Aid & Scholarships (FAS) Office is committed to helping students achieve their educational goals by providing effective and meaningful financial aid assistance. FAS is responsible for processing financial aid applications, administrating various financial aid programs, and providing financial aid counseling to students and their families.

The Financial Aid Scholarships (FAS) department at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire a Financial Aid Administrator to join our Project Management Team. This position provides support to the Assistant Director by coordinating activities related to all projects. The positions main duties are to enhance department and organization processes by exploring opportunities and ensuring the continuity and efficiency of each project from start to finish through clear communication to all parties involved.

The Financial Aid Administrator handles multiple projects within a fast-paced environment and is open to constant changes and challenges. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, lead and direct the work of other team members, and be able to manage multiple projects at once in the absence of day-to-day guidance.

Bachelor's in related field, three years in student services or related roles. Equivalent education, training, experience accepted. Must maintain good standing on federal student loans, grant NSLDS access for hire & continued employment.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office. In depth knowledge of financial aid processes, policies and procedures or ability to quickly assimilate.
• Ability to problem solve, multitask and organize in a fast paced collaborative environment.
• Ability to effectively communicate. Develops and maintains effective working relationships.
