- Assist in carrying out customized treatment plans designed by an Occupational Therapist.
- Help patients develop, improve, or restore their ability to perform daily living and work activities.
- Use therapeutic techniques to support physical, cognitive, and psychosocial goals.
- Monitor and document patient progress in electronic medical records (EMR).
- Educate patients and families on exercises, adaptive equipment, and follow-up activities.
- Collaborate with the OT and interdisciplinary team to ensure the best patient outcomes.
- Active Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) license in the state of Texas (or willingness to obtain).
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a positive, patient-focused attitude.
- Passion for helping others regain independence and confidence in their daily lives.
