Medical City Denton, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a PRN Radiologic Technologist Extern. The role offers opportunities to gain hands‑on experience while supporting patients and the clinical team.

• Prepare patients for imaging by obtaining histories, verifying identities, and assisting with positioning.
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and team members.
• Safely transport patients between areas, ensuring their comfort and emotional needs.
• Set up imaging rooms, manage turnover, and organize supplies to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient environment.
• Serve as a vital connection between patients, technologists, and the care team by communicating needs and concerns promptly.
• Participate in learning opportunities and adhere to safety and confidentiality standards.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification, obtained within 30 days of employment start date (NCTR).
• Non-certified Radiological Technicians Registry certification, obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• Graduation from a vocational school or equivalent educational program.
