Description

  • Regular and punctual attendance is required.
  • Distribute culturally and linguistically appropriate messages that focus on the importance and benefits of vaccination in the community.
  • Assists with the development and maintenance of toolkits, checklists, quick guides, and other health promotion materials to increase vaccine education.
  • Provide training and education for local trusted messengers to deliver messages regarding vaccine hesitancy and misinformation.
  • Develop localized testimonial campaigns.
  • Assist with clerical and organizational tasks during and after outreach and vaccination events. Events may occur during regular work hours, or during nights and weekends, and work time may be flexed accordingly.
  • Conduct accurate and timely data entry as requested.
  • Create, maintain, and archive records and documents in accordance with program requirements, department retention schedules, and laws.
  • Respond to queries and data analysis requests by internal and external stakeholders by specified deadlines.
  • Create and maintain one pagers, presentations, visualizations, and reports to display community data and metrics and illustrate trends.
  • Perform research and compile data for special projects, reports, or other publications, by specified deadlines and in accordance with the department’s goals and objectives.
  • Monitor and document program activities for required reporting.
  • Perform project-related clerical and administrative tasks.
  • Serve as a liaison between the community, health professionals, and health and human service organizations specific to community health.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED, completion of some college course work, and a minimum one year of experience in a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and related experience required.

Family Medical Leave:

Denton County employees who have been employed for one year and who have worked 1250 hours in the preceding year may be eligible for up to twelve weeks of FMLA leave. The FMLA provides for up to 12 weeks of job-protected leave
