Company Description

Bright Mosaic is a therapy center serving children with autism and other developmental disorders in the North Texas area. The team integrates behavioral therapy (ABA), speech therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and life skills training to support growth and independence. The center focuses on smaller, highly interactive programs with one-to-one therapist-to-child ratios to address individual needs. Bright Mosaic uses a hands-on, interest-driven approach, encouraging children to explore activities such as music, gardening, and technology projects to build skills and confidence.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Occupational Therapist role based in Denton, TX. The Occupational Therapist will assess children’s functional abilities, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide direct therapy focused on sensory integration, fine and gross motor skills, self-care, and life skills. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with ABA, speech, and physical therapists; documenting progress and updating goals; communicating regularly with families and caregivers;

and adapting activities to reflect each child’s interests and strengths. The role also involves participating in interdisciplinary meetings, contributing to program development, and maintaining high standards of ethical and evidence-based practice.

Qualifications
  • Strong foundation in Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation, with experience supporting children with autism and developmental disorders.
  • Knowledge of Pediatrics and child development, including sensory processing, behavior, and functional skill acquisition.
  • Effective Communication skills for collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and engaging with families and caregivers.
  • Understanding of Medicine and healthcare practices relevant to pediatric therapy settings.
  • Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Texas.
  • Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Experience in clinic or school-based pediatric settings is preferred.
  • Ability to create engaging, individualized, play-based interventions and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
