Caregiver​/Med Tech

This Full Time position is 40 hours per week with every other weekend off. We have several shifts available. Also looking for PRN Caregivers. We offer a competitive wage starting at $14.50 per hour. • Conduct rounds to check on resident needs
• Support residents with activities of daily living in accordance with their care plans, promoting independence and well-being.
• Light housekeeping of resident rooms and clean-up of spills
• Assist getting residents to/from dining room for meals
• Serve meals to residents in dining room and/or their private rooms
• Follow nursing service policies and procedures
• Maintain a positive attitude when talking with residents and co-workers
• Regular attendance is required
• Must have desire to be team player
• Medication Administration (Med Techs only) Follow all OSHA, Fire, Health Department and safety requirements

• 18 years of age with a high school diploma or a GED
• You must be able to pass a criminal background check
• Experience with the elderly preferred but not required
• Must complete orientation and training before attending residents, and must complete continuing education hours annually
• Effectively communicate in English with residents and other employees
• Demonstrate high standards of ethics and personal accountability
• Basic computer skills required
• Push, pull, lift up to 50 lbs.
