Bilingual HR Generalist
Manufacturing company located in Denton, TX is seeking a well-rounded Bilingual Human Resources Generalist.
The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for performing HR-related duties at a professional level in a manufacturing environment and works closely with the HR Manager in supporting all aspects of Human Resources. This position carries out and assists with responsibilities in the following functional areas: employee relations, training, performance management, recruiting, onboarding, policy implementation, and employment law compliance.
- Assists in the development, implementation and maintenance of personnel policies and procedures; and maintains the Employee Handbook and the HR Policies and Procedures Manual.
- Assists supervisor and employee training and interpretation of HR-related policies and procedures.
- Maintains employee personnel files, HRIS record, training records and other related HR documentation. Paycom experience a plus.
- Maintains the company organizational chart and employee directory.
- Assists HR Manager with recruitment efforts for all personnel; new hire orientations and all onboarding activities.
- Assists with employee relations, employee motivation, and other employee related activities.
- Administers paid time off policies and procedures, including vacation, sick leave and company holidays.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations.
- Assists HR Manager and Management team as needed and other duties as assigned.
- Assists with benefits administration, maintains benefits records and maintenance, and leave of absence administration as needed.
Qualified candidates will possess a working knowledge of HR/employment laws, benefits administration, employee relations, computer proficiency. Must be able to communicate effectively with both verbal and written communication. Must be detail oriented, organized and able to maintain confidential information. Bilingual in Spanish.
Experience:
- 3 to 5 years in an HR Generalist role.
