Join a great team to help us keep bike riders rolling. This position is responsible for troubleshooting repairs and services for all types of bikes. Communicating with students, faculty, and staff to help them understand the concerns with their bikes. Additionally, the technician will, under direction, order and stock new accessories and components as needed. Further, the technician will ensure the safety of all bikes being repaired in the shop.

Since you will constantly be speaking with customers to evaluate issues and recommend repairs, we value great listening and customer service skills.

• 1 year of related experience
• Valid Texas driver license

This position is responsible for troubleshooting repairs and services for all types of bikes. At least one year experience with bicycle maintenance preferred. Ability to communicate with others is essential. This position requires communicating with students, faculty, and staff to help them understand the concerns with their bikes.

• Complete work orders accurately
• Assist customer in the repair process by sharing knowledge and experience
• Operate point of sale equipment
• Maintain clean and presentable work area
• Install, replace, or repair parts and equipment as necessary
• Align wheels, install tires, and tubes
• Clean and lubricate bicycle parts
• Other duties as assigned, including parking enforcement tasks during times the bike shop is closed
