TITLE: SEAL Program Lead Coordinator

REPORTS TO: Special Projects Manager

LOCATION: North Central Texas Workforce Solutions

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Temporary - Full-Time, Non-Exempt

Overview: Responsible for overseeing activities and services related to the VR SEAL program. Provides day-to-day leadership, guidance, and oversight to SEAL Coordinators while serving as the primary liaison between program leadership, partners, employers, and internal teams. This position is expected to be 100% onsite and runs approximately March through August (depending on funding and needs). Employment may end earlier or be extended based on business necessity and program requirements.

  • Helps coordinate and implement a quality work experience program for SEAL participants
  • Outreaches VR SEAL referrals to provide program information and encourage engagement
  • Communicates with SEAL Manager regarding issues needing VR partner engagement
  • Acts as program liaison with SEAL trainees and guardians (if applicable) to provide information for compliant trainee Work Experience engagement
  • Conducts Work Readiness training with VR customers in compliance with the SEAL Plan
  • Assists in matching SEAL customers with available SEAL worksites
  • Processes SEAL participants for enrollment into the ADP system
  • Assists and guides customers in enrollment activities and documentation for compliant SEAL enrollment
  • Assists and guides customers (and guardians, if needed) to complete enrollment steps for wage payment systems
  • Schedules and conducts New Hire Orientations and Worksite Supervisor Orientations
  • Completes worksite visit documentation timely and completely
  • Analyzes work experience activities to ensure policy and procedure compliance
  • Oversees worksite activities to comply with Child Labor Law
  • Coordinates, collects, and processes time sheets in a timely manner
  • Coordinates payroll distribution (if needed)
  • Resolves paycheck and timesheet issues with Career Team staff and SEAL customers/guardians
  • Tracks and documents outcomes and contractual goals for the SEAL Program
  • Reviews employer performance evaluations and takes appropriate actions as needed
  • Approaches daily tasks with a “ZAG” mindset
  • Other duties and projects as needed
To Qualify for This Role, You Must Have
  • Minimum:
    High school diploma or GED
  • Preferred:
    Bachelor’s degree or four years of combined education and relevant experience
  • 2+ years of work experience in training, counseling, case management, or related services
  • Substantial case management experience and ability to read and interpret policies
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities
  • Ability to work with a culturally diverse customer base in a sensitive manner
  • Ability to motivate customers toward achieving goals
  • PC literacy, including Internet, email, and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • Valid Driver’s License
Position Details
  • Travel: 15% within and outside the designated worksite
