Position Summary
Steel Hold Inc. is seeking a strategic and hands‑on Regional Sales and Ops Manager to lead multiple sales teams and warehouse locations across the Dallas, Texas area. This role blends leadership, sales, operations, and field support – ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, high‑accountability environment. You’ll hire and oversee outside sales reps, warehouse and counter sales staff, manage topline sales, regional P&L, and occasionally deliver materials to jobsites using company vehicles.
We are seeking a results‑driven leader with a passion for sales and operational excellence.
- Hire, supervise, and coach outside sales representatives, warehouse employees, and inside sales teams.
- Own all regional sales performance, including meeting targets, coaching teams, monitoring KPIs, and driving consistent revenue growth across all locations.
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies to meet growth targets.
- Lead and manage multiple warehouse locations within the region.
- Own regional profit and loss (P&L) performance, including budgeting and forecasting.
- Ensure accurate inventory management and timely replenishment across all sites.
- Occasionally deliver materials to jobsites using box trucks.
- Maintain high standards of customer service and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety, DOT, and company policies.
- Other duties as necessary or assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, logistics, or related field required;
Master’s degree preferred. - 8+ years of experience in sales management required.
- 5+ years of experience in leadership position, including managing employees required.
- Operations management experience preferred.
- Hands‑on experience recruiting and building field, warehouse, and inside sales teams, consistently hiring talent who can execute in both sales‑driven and operational environments.
- Proven leadership in managing multi‑site teams.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
- Valid driver’s license required.
Skills and Abilities
- Strong understanding of inventory control, distribution, and sales cycles.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
- Proficiency in business reporting and budgeting tools.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Ability to use hands and fingers to operate computers, office equipment, and tools.
- Ability to see, hear, and speak effectively to communicate and perform job duties.
- Ability to read and interpret printed and electronic materials.
- Ability to travel locally to meetings, trainings, or events.
Salary range between $120,000 - $140,000 plus bonus.
