Liberty Trail RV is seeking an experienced and motivated RV Service Manager to lead our service department and ensure an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily service operations, managing technicians and advisors, maintaining productivity standards, controlling department expenses, and driving profitability while delivering high-quality repairs and customer satisfaction.

This position requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a commitment to creating a positive work environment for both employees and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all daily operations of the RV service department.
  • Supervise, train, coach, and develop service technicians and support staff.
  • Monitor technician productivity, efficiency, and quality of work.
  • Schedule and assign work to maximize department performance.
  • Ensure repairs are completed accurately, safely, and within promised time frames.
  • Review and approve repair orders, warranty claims, and service documentation.
  • Maintain excellent customer relations and resolve escalated concerns professionally.
  • Monitor department performance metrics, including labor sales, gross profit, technician efficiency, and customer satisfaction scores.
  • Coordinate with the Parts Department to ensure timely availability of parts and materials.
  • Maintain compliance with manufacturer requirements, company policies, and safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and performance evaluations.
  • Assist in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding service personnel.
  • Develop and implement processes that improve department efficiency and profitability.
  • Manage service department budgets and expenses.
Qualifications Required
  • 3+ years of management experience in RV or related service operations.
  • Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Proven ability to manage schedules, workflow, and departmental performance.
  • Experience reading and understanding repair orders, warranty procedures, and service documentation.
  • Proficiency with computer systems and dealership management software.
  • Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
Preferred
  • RV industry experience.
  • Experience with IDS dealership management system.
  • Knowledge of RV systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, and slide-out systems.
  • Manufacturer certification experience.
