Overnight Coverage Lead

As an Overnight Coverage Lead at H-E-B, you'll support Store leadership by providing primary overnight coverage and monitoring Partners, departments, and total-Store safety and sanitation standards. Key responsibilities include store lead operations, customer service, compliance, sanitation, and safety. You will oversee store conditions, direct work, address complaints, follow up on production plans, and ensure successful communication of overnight operations to daytime leaders.

You will also assist with customer complaints, ensure point of sale transactions are processed, and oversee cleaning and sanitizing of sales floor, display cases, prep areas, and equipment. You will manage facility and equipment maintenance, execute emergency management procedures, and confirm compliance with sanitation SOPs and guidelines. You will also comply with SOPs related to security, receiving, and safety, and oversee compliance with federal, state, and H-E-B regulations for product freshness, food safety, refrigeration, and sanitation.

Qualifications include an age requirement of 18+, 6+ months of related experience, and experience leading or supporting an overnight team. Knowledge of department production stations, problem-solving and decision-making skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to read and interpret documents are also required. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence, communicate effectively with customers and groups of Partners, and apply common sense to carry out instructions are necessary.

Ability to support large groups of Partners, complete forklift/power jack training, and demonstrate the ability to lift 85 lbs and manage in excess of 85 lbs is also required.
