Summary Manufactures and installs aircraft wire harness assemblies and components using a variety of engineering data, tools and equipment in a timely and efficient fashion while ensuring quality standards are attained.
This is a temporary role, employed through an agency. We have multiple openings for this position.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Manufactures aircraft wire harness assemblies following engineering drawings, shop aids and supporting information.
- Installs wire harnesses on final product assemblies such as interior cabinet assemblies, periphery assemblies, circuit breaker component panels, etc.
- Produces wire fabrication with tools for wire harness manufacturing including strippers, crimpers, heat guns and other wire harness production equipment.
- Provides guidance to less experienced craftsman, and performs tasks as required for daily operation and long-term department goals.
- Performs wire marking, cutting and labeling duties.
- Reads and interprets engineering drawings.
- Performs testing and verification of final product.
- Designs and builds shop aids.
- Wears safety equipment as required and complies with safety guidelines and procedures.
- Consistently produces a quality product.
- Properly maintains shop tools and equipment.
- Maintains a neat, organized work area and helps with the general daily housekeeping of the department.
- Meets target hours and completes schedules as set by the supervisor.
- Maintains regular attendance including being at work, being on time to work and working full shifts.

- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 4+ years corporate or commercial aircraft wiring experience or related military training.
