Performs a wide variety of complex maintenance work to repair and/or maintain machinery or plant facility, working under minimal supervision. Must be able to read and work from electrical and hydraulic schematics. This is not a maintenance training program. Applicants must be fully qualified.
Job Responsibilities- Work from complicated diagrams, drawings, and specifications.
- Perform a variety of complex maintenance work to repair machinery, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
- Maintain plant facility, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
- Maintain and operate tools as necessary to perform tasks.
- Diagnose problems using appropriate testing equipment before making necessary repairs.
- Design, fabricate, and weld necessary parts and equipment for plant machinery and facility. Requires the use of shop math.
- Knowledge and demonstrated skill troubleshooting equipment containing PLC's, variable frequency drives, and automation is required.
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate, supplemented by appropriate technical school training.
- 3-5 years related Industrial Maintenance experience required.
- Demonstrated understanding of shop practices, including general electrical, electrical schematics, mechanical systems, hydraulics, HVAC, simple fabrication, and shop math.
