Skill Level: Basic -- Demonstrates limited knowledge but shows multi-craft maintenance aptitude, little to no experience.

Position Purpose: Industrial Cleaner will support Maintenance jobs and clean production areas and equipment. Cleaner will also be responsible for collecting and assisting with documentation of repair details, as directed by their Team Leader and/or Maintenance Manager.

• Technically skilled to facilitate the recovery of at least 50% of equipment from a technical fault without assistance.
• Ability to demonstrate sound execution of mechanical repairs of equipment and provide long-term resolution to equipment failures.
• Ability to work directly from a work order under minimal direction.
• Ability to perform scheduled PM's as assigned.
• Experience in basic mechanical and basic computer skills.

• Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is preferred.
• One year of industrial experience and technical cleaning experience preferred.
• Mechanical and electrical theory required.
• SAP / CMMS maintenance system preferred.

• Required to talk and/or hear in an industrial setting (noise level is high). Frequently required to stand and walk on concrete surfaces for 4 - 12 hours. Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; lift; stoop, or crouch.
• Vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
• Work is performed in an industrial-manufacturing environment with occasional time spent working on a computer or at a desk.
