Clean Harbors maintenance department located in Denton, TX is looking for a Material Handler to join their safety conscious team. The Material Handler will supervise and coordinate a perpetual inventory record of material, supplies, and other general stock items.

- Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times.
- Coordinate the appropriate processing of purchase requisitions, receiving, reports, inventory requisitions applicable to items maintained, and item cost analysis. Carry out shipping and receiving duties in accordance with policy.
- Implement our Inventory Management System and become the expert regarding inventory management.
- Work with Maintenance Manager and Maintenance personnel to ensure that critical stock items and maintenance supplies are maintained within acceptable stocking levels. Manage dead stock and return to vendor as applicable.
- Manage repair orders and requests for parts in a timely manner which means every item request is logged in and / or reviewed daily.
- Ensure the purchase of materials, tooling, and services are performed as required and consistent with policies and appropriate approval levels.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to travel away from home up to 25% of the time.
- Superior communication skills, attention to detail, organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to financially account for movement of materials within the maintenance region.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Products.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.

Location:
1722 Cooper Creek Road. Pay Range: $14.42 - $28.85 hourly.
