Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled, detail‑oriented Cable & Harness Inspector to support our team in Denton, TX. This is a full‑time, first‑shift position working 4 to 5 days per week on an as‑needed basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cable and harness inspection, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering high‑quality work.
Key Responsibilities- Perform first‑article, in‑process, and final inspections at one or more client suppliers in Denton, TX.
- Ensure products meet quality and specification standards.
- Verify safety wire orientation, correct turns, and pigtails as per specifications.
- Confirm shipping documentation is legible and accurate (part number, serial number, etc.).
- Check documentation packages to industry standards and classify defects.
- Interpret manufacturing drawings and identify non‑conformances.
- Periodically verify accuracy and ensure productivity to meet production schedules.
- Maintain equipment and keep the work area organized.
- Knowledge of cable and harness assembly methods.
- Familiarity with IPC‑A‑620 standards.
- Minimum 3years of experience as a Cable and Harness Inspector/Assembler in electronic manufacturing or related fields.
- Ability to read schematics, assembly drawings, and identify wiring components.
- Proficiency in documenting Certificates of Conformance (COC).
- Strong organizational, communication, and software adaptation skills.
- Certified or previously certified in IPC‑A‑620.
- Diploma or GED from an accredited high school or technical school; college degree in engineering.
- Preferred: 5years of experience, with 2years as a Cable and Harness Inspector.
Actual compensation will be based on a variety of factors, including experience, skills, qualifications, and location. Mileage reimbursement at the U.S. government rate ($0.70 per mile driven).
