Job Overview

Meat Room Lead – Lead position on the production floor.

The Lead acts as a team captain, actively present on the production floor and working alongside the production team to assign resources as needed, serve as a resource to employees regarding the production process and equipment, and, in conjunction with management, help ensure all production processes follow safety, quality, and efficiency standards.

• Assign resources to production tasks as needed.
• Serve as a resource to employees regarding the production process and equipment.
• Collaborate with management to ensure processes meet safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
• Perform regular production duties within the team’s responsibilities and provide support when gaps exist.

• 2+ years of experience working in a food production environment (food manufacturing ideal).
• 1+ years of experience in a Lead position, leading a team/floor operations.
• Strong analytical, oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
• Must be extremely organized, detail-oriented, able to multitask, and prioritize multiple projects/tasks.

Pay rate: $25 per hour (may vary by experience and availability).
