• Partner with the Safety Manager to direct safety meetings and ensure ongoing safety training for all shop employees
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to link operational KPIs and provide recommendations to improve financial and operational efficiency
• Perform performance evaluations, create individual development plans and assign tasks to the most appropriate team members
• Along with Operations Manager, lead personnel in a professional manner, aligned with CMC’s Guiding Principles
• Communicate daily with Shift Leads and Production Operators/Material Handlers to identify opportunities, issues, and concerns
• Demonstrate leadership by driving initiatives, influencing outcomes, and fostering accountability
• Drive continuous improvement in processes, employee productivity, uptime improvements, and lead time reductions
• Maintain and submit all daily and monthly reports required by management

• Proficient in Microsoft Office:
  Word, Outlook, Excel, and Power Point
• Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal form
• Experience with industrial electrical repairs including troubleshooting and repair of AC‑DC drives and motors, PLCs, and 480 V 3‑phase electrical systems
• SAP experience strongly preferred
• Experience with Salesforce a plus
• Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to multitask, meet deadlines and handle stress in a fast‑paced environment
• 3–5+ years of supervisory or managerial experience in a production, manufacturing, or rebar related environment (large facility experience preferred)

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
