Five Star Orthodontic Lab and supply has been servicing the Orthodontic community for over 30 years! Five Star uses an assembly line approach to appliance fabrication. Each tech is specialized in one or more departments and each appliance is QC’d after each step of the fabrication process. This provides for a much more consistent, quality appliance.

Aligner Lab Technician

• Create appliance from model, uses thermal forming unit. (product code entry).
• Operate NSK hand piece for trimming.
• Operate Triad light cure unit for adhesive curing.

• Basic PC knowledge and typing skills.
• Verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate.
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
• High school diploma or GED required.

• Ability to perform essential job functions consistently, safely and successfully with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone.
