Southwire Company LLC is hiring machine operators at our Denton, TX facility. Primary opportunities are on night shift, however there will be a few day shift positions opening up: night shift 7 PM to 7 AM, day shift: 7 AM to 7 PM. We run a rotation shift schedule. Minimum requirement is one year of machine operation experience in an industrial environment.

Job Description:

• Must have high level knowledge of equipment/process from start to finish and willing to learn where development is needed or new processes launched
• Focused on achieving daily and weekly production goals at the most efficient way possible
• Will act as the first point of contact when problems arise. Escalate issues to the Production Supervisor if they can't be solved
• Ensure Operators are performing tasks in accordance with SOPs
• Lead and capable of applicable preventive maintenance activities and unplanned repairs
• Stresses safety at all times
• Ensure work areas are clean and well organized
• Training of Operators where needed
