• Direct the operation of shift production, including checking formulas, assigning tasks, monitoring procedures and schedules to ensure adherence to standards.
• Ensure production technicians and outsourced labor are properly trained in safe equipment operation.
• Review records and procedures to ensure proper use of time and materials, and perform continuous inspections to meet quality standards.
• Maintain equipment in good operating condition and promote positive employee relations and interdepartmental communication.
• Enforce safety policies and procedures, including inspections and periodic safety meetings.
• Plan and adjust work assignments to cover all phases of production.
• Operate facility metal detector(s) when required, after full training and certification.
• Ensure employee compliance with work rules, assist with training, and participate in disciplinary processes as necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area and comply with company policies (EEO, Sexual Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes–Oxley, etc.).
• Perform other duties deemed integral to the job, such as work schedules, attendance policies, and other operating rules.

• Two or more years of experience in plant production work.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of AIB Bakery Science Residence Program.
• Completion of formal management skills training program.

Salary Range: $70,000 – $78,500.
