Job Description:
Electro-Mechanical Assembler
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Electro-Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling, testing, and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical components that support manufacturing operations. This role ensures that products meet quality standards, production schedules, and engineering specifications while contributing to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Responsibilities- Assemble, test, and inspect electro‑mechanical products in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
- Ensure all assemblies meet quality standards and customer expectations.
- Perform assembly activities including drilling, crimping, screwing, deburring, tapping, and precision measuring.
- Follow assembly and testing instructions thoroughly and accurately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in accordance with 5S principles.
- Document assembly, testing, and repair activities using established record‑keeping systems.
- Retrieve and utilize drawings and documentation from company systems as required.
- Complete assigned tasks in accordance with production schedules and supervisory direction.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and perform other duties as assigned.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: 2–5 years of related electro‑mechanical assembly experience preferred.
- Technical
Skills:
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings; ability to understand, follow, and communicate verbal and written instructions; basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel; proficiency with hand tools, power tools, multimeters, and precision measuring devices; soldering and brazing experience preferred.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required, including safety glasses, steel‑toed footwear, and high‑visibility clothing.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and repetitive tasks; ability to lift, move, or position materials weighing up to 50 pounds and use assistive equipment for heavier items.
- Exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, and occasional outdoor weather conditions.
- Occasional overtime may be required.
- This position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.
