About the Role

The Brewery Operations Technician I is an entry‑level, hands‑on position supporting daily production tasks across the brewhouse, cellar, and packaging areas. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn, grow, and contribute to a high‑quality craft beer program. You’ll work closely with the brewing team to ensure smooth operations, consistent beer quality, and a clean, safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow SOPs and safety protocols to maintain a clean, organized workspace
  • Clean and sanitize kegs as well as tanks, hoses, pumps, and general brewery equipment
  • Operate and maintain packaging equipment (kegs and cans)
  • Support inventory management for raw materials and packaging supplies
  • Assist with wort production by accurately following recipes and milling in grain
  • Record production data accurately and consistently
  • Help with general facility upkeep and routine maintenance tasks
  • Participate in sensory evaluations and quality checks as trained
  • Assist with special projects, events, and collaborations as needed
Qualifications
  • Interest in brewing, fermentation, or beverage production
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn
  • Ability to lift 55+ lbs and work in hot, cold, wet, and physically demanding environments
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort with tools/equipment
  • Strong attention to cleanliness, safety, and detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred (Not Required)
  • Experience in a brewery, beverage production facility, or food manufacturing
  • Familiarity with CIP systems, pumps, and basic brewing equipment
  • Brewing education or homebrewing experience
  • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one
