OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Meat Room Lead to join our team in Denton, TX. As part of our pet food manufacturing operation, you will oversee and guide a team of machine operators working in a cold environment. The ideal candidate brings industry experience and strong leadership skills to maintain high standards of product quality and team performance.
Responsibilities- Supervise and lead a team of machine operators in the Meat Room
- Ensure adherence to safety and food quality standards at all times
- Coordinate daily operations and production schedules
- Train and mentor new and existing team members
- Monitor equipment and address any issues to maintain continuous workflow
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in a cold work environment
- Communicate clearly with management and other departments
- Prior experience in food and beverage manufacturing required
- Experience working with meat products strongly preferred
- Proven leadership skills and previous experience supervising a team
- Ability to work effectively in a cold environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to safety
