Position OverviewResponsible for creating print and digital promotional materials to enhance event presentation, ticket sales initiatives, and brand awareness. Develop creative themes that carry across all departmental external messaging.
Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in a related field and two years of related experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Preferred Qualifications- Master’s degree required.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of industry-standard graphic design software and applications, including Quark, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and basic HTML.
- Proficiency and comfort working within web-based interfaces and digital platforms.
- Create digital and hardcopy collateral materials to promote ticket sales and generate specific team promotional materials to increase public image for assigned sports.
- Meet brand standards in creative ways and promote overall brand guidelines at all times in conjunction with Senior Associate AD and Assistant AD.
- Work with other internal units to oversee enhancement of brand identity and awareness, including supporting the fulfillment of sponsored digital content inventory, planning, and messaging with Learfield IMG College partners and licensees.
- Under leadership of Senior Associate AD and Assistant AD, design department publications working with different units to create fresh art and editorial content.
- Provide gameday digital media support for sports events and other important events as assigned, including revenue and nonrevenue generating sports events and the assignment of student intern staff at these events.
- Communicate with coaches and staff to ensure brand awareness and identity standards are being met.
- Work with Assistant AD to design creative social media graphics and concepts to assist overall marketing and communications effort.
- Contribute to overall athletic department social media strategy and ideation with opportunity for a larger role.
- Work well with other units in the athletic department to help accomplish common goals.
